Defining the Forum
The Forum was founded in 1992 by an organizing committee of Wilmington area women executives. The organization has maintained its core vision of advancement while embracing change in support of the evolving needs of the local landscape of women leaders. The Forum continues to serve as a relevant and valuable outlet and resource for executive women in and around Delaware today.
A peer-to-peer organization for women of outstanding experience and ability, the Forum's membership reflects the many paths women take to executive level leadership. Through membership, women who are corporate and not-for-profit executives, business owners, senior professionals and leaders in the public sector, join together to form unique, supportive relationships and create experiences that strengthen their ongoing leadership.
The amazing women who make up the organizational membership contribute their time and expertise to civic, cultural, and professional organizations and causes, in and around Delaware, everyday. The Forum is where we come together to engage and connect with women of similar talents and experiences through fun, social and educational programming focused on various aspects of careers, life and local to global issues that impact or advance professional women.
