A key aspect of the Forum’s mission is to provide programming and events which are relevant to the needs and interests of executive women and leaders in and around Delaware. Throughout the regular program year, from September to June, the Forum fills its Fall and Spring schedules with a variety of such programs that blend education, inspiration, information and FUN.
Signature Programs
The Forum’s Signature Programs are formal gatherings featuring a special speaker or group discussion format, which focus on various aspects of careers, life and local to global issues that impact or advance professional women. These breakfasts, luncheons and dinners, as well as special parties and receptions, are held at fun, social venues in the greater Wilmington, Delaware area. Signature programs are typically held about twice per month between September and June of each program year.
Coffee and Conversations
Coffee and Conversations carries on a long-standing tradition of Forum of Executive members. Over a cup of joe at a favorite local spot, these monthly gatherings give members and friends the opportunity for fluid, lively discussion about life, careers, transitions and more, in a casual setting. Though loosely structured, these discussions are lightly but effectively guided by a well-known Forum member who moderates various topics. (formerly Coffee and Careers).
A Few Friends
A Few Friends is all about fun! Over the summer months of June, July and August, when regular programming is on hiatus, members like to get together with A Few Friends to relax and unwind, without any formal agenda. This series of meet-ups typically occurs every other week throughout the summer and may vary from cocktails to bike rides to shopping over lunch… and anything in between! A Few Friends highlights the supportive relationships forged and strengthened through membership.
